Proverbs 29:25 The fear of man lays a snare, but whoever trusts in the LORD is safe.
Fearing what people might do or think controls one’s life and produces a snare – no freedom of movement or sense of security.
Isa. 8:11-13 NET Indeed this is what the LORD told me. He took hold of me firmly and warned me not to act like these people:
12 “Do not say, ‘Conspiracy,’ every time these people say the word. Don’t be afraid of what scares them; don’t be terrified.
