Responses to the Resurrection

Each one of the people who first saw Jesus alive and heard about the empty tomb had a choice of whether to deal with their emotions or not. There are wonderful passages in the gospels of the disciples being set free from sorrow, grief, confusion, guilt and fear. That is the power of the resurrection which each of us continues to be able to have in our lives because HE IS RISEN!
Philippians 3:10
so that by it I would know Jesus and the power of his resurrection and would be made a participant in his sufferings and would be conformed to his death
